Disneyland Pixar Fest

We like to do the special meal deal things that go with different events - parades, fireworks, shows, etc.  On this trip we did it for the Pixar Play Parade.  The advantage to doing these is you get preferred seating at the event.  It saves us from going a couple of hours early to stake out a spot, or stand in line in the heat to get a good seat, etc.  We figure we have to eat anyway, we might as well do this and get a good seat!  Plus you get a discount as Annual Passholders - that's always a perk!

$39.99 per adult – tax not included; gratuity not required
$24.99 per child (ages 3-9) – tax not included; gratuity not required
(AP discount does apply!)

You pay for this one up front and you get your receipt, a lanyard and a ticket - you need both of those to get in to the viewing area.  You go to a special area for your plate and give them the receipt for your food.

You get a special dinner - there were 3 choices - Chris chose the chicken, I chose the Penne Pasta.  Both meals came with macaroni and cheese, watermelon, a kind of salad with broccoli, grapes, cheese, etc., and a cute little cup with caramel chocolate pudding.

You can sit wherever you want inside or outside.

They suggest being in the viewing area by 5:30, for a 6:00 parade.  We went a little early, about 5:10 and got seats on a bench in the shade.  It was so nice!
